For the swatch photos, I did two coats plus top coat. with two, the difference is more pronounced. With one coat, I could not even tell the difference. Important! I bought both colors in the name of research for the blog but will be honest: they are really very similar. Just a classic nail polish bottle (but not too big or tall so it will fit wherever you stash your polishes). Formaldehyde, Toulene, DBP, Camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide, Acetone, Xylene, TPHP, or Formaldehyde Resin.

The formula is free of phthalates, parabens, silicones, and gluten. They filter out discoloration for a flawless finish! Brightening Porcelain Flower Extract and optical brighteners neutralize discoloration like yellowing or staining.The nail concealer will neutralize discoloration, brighten the nails, and give them a natural but polished look. The result is nails that look effortless but still polished. So anything that makes my nails look pretty without much work is for me! This product is completely idiot-proof and will keep your nails looking great all the time. I had a place I liked but they closed, and it’s just harder to get an appointment and/or I do not want to take an uber to the nail salon so I wind up doing them myself.

I’ve basically stopped getting professional manicures since living in Charleston. I’m glad I got both as I actually ended up preferring the white! When I got back to Charleston I immediately ordered it in both colors (the original white and the pink), thinking I’d prefer the pink but wanting to try both just ya know, for the love of research. The product is Londontown’s Illuminating Nail Concealer and it is amazing. Londontown also has a flash dry KUR topcoat, so I may try that one next.I think this product might just have broken my DMs, while also being one of my all time favorite products and best-sellers on Amazon! It is all thanks to my best friend… while in Anguilla a couple months ago, she said, “Oh I got this nail polish I think you’d really like.” Her nails looked professionally done which led me to a million questions about how it wears (really well), if she’d had them done (because they looked so good but no, she did them herself) and so on and so forth. The photos truly don’t do this polish justice.Īpplication tip: I like to use three coats and finish with the Essie gel topcoat. Just the perfect hint of a subtle pearlized sheen (like a less intense version of the now famous Hailey Bieber nails). What sets it apart from other pinky/nude polishes is that it has an illuminative quality to it without being sparkly. While red nail polish will always be my #1, I’m glad I added this polish to my collection. I ordered mine on amazon and absolutely love it – it’s perfect for summer! Why? Because with all of the time we spend outdoors and in chlorine and with constant sunscreen application, a neutral nail is much more forgiving – chips are less noticeable and your nails stay looking neater/fresher, longer (even if you do get a chip!) The hype behind this product is its ability to give nails a “lit from within” glow and a very natural – but still noticeable, finish.
But then I started seeing literally everyone I follow on IG talk about the Londontown KUR illuminating nail concealer ( in the color “milky”) and you know I can’t resist trying a heavily hyped/viral product. I’ve been painting my nails red at home for over two years now and never thought I’d have the desire to have a neutral nail again.
